Lexis Nexis Setup

LexisNexis is a vendor for PL Rating™ providing Solutions at Quote (SAQ), Agent Paid MVR, and carrier sponsored credit, clue or MVR.

LexisNexis sends the agency a notice when Solutions at Quote has been activated on their NODE ID from a PL Rating Request to activate. Here is an example of the email:

The following is an example of the timeline for Solutions at Quote activation.

  1. When the LexisNexis Node ID is added to the PL Rating account, an automated e-mail message is sent to the agency admins advising the account change

  1. A request is sent to LexisNexis within 24 hours of the Node ID being added. This starts the clock for the 10 working day processing window.

  2. LexisNexis responds with an acknowledgment that they received the request.

  3. LexisNexis responds with activate or action needed to active within the 10 working days.

    1. The e-mail message above is sent on the same the activation is completed on the LexisNexis side

    2. The activation is normally received by Vertafore the following working day.

      1. The activation is updated in PL Rating and Solutions at Quote is available on the new auto quotes for the agency.

Activation for Agent Paid MVR and carrier sponsored credit/clue/mvr could reflect different information in the email notice from LexisNexis.
