Get Sub-customers

Use the Get Sub-customers data entry form to add sub-customers to a multiple entity policy. This data entry form can also be used to add the sub-customers to the Commercial Supplemental Names section of Policy as Additional Named Insureds, if applicable.

    ClosedAccessing Get Sub-customers

Click the Get Sub-customers link from one of the following locations in the Policy data entry form:

  1. Click the Split Premium link in the Transaction Premiums or in the Transaction Fees, Taxes, Finance, & Down Payments sub-sections of the Transaction Premiums / Billing section. This opens the Multiple Entities data entry form.

  2. ClickGet Sub-customers. Only the sub-customers that are not already added to the policy are in the list.

The form displays all of the sub-customers associated with the master customer.

When accessing Get Sub-customers from the Multiple Entities data entry form, the list includes only sub-customers that are not already added to the list.

What is this?

Select All Customers

Click to check the box in the Selectcolumn for all customers in the list.

Select

Check this box if you want the sub-customer to be included in the coverage on this policy.

If the sub-customer:

  1. Is assigned premium from the Split Premium link in the Transaction Premium / Billing>Transaction Premiums and/or the Transaction Fees, Taxes, Finance, & Down Payments sections in the Policy data entry form, you cannot remove the Selectcheckmark.

  2. Is added to the Commercial Supplemental Names section as an Additional Named Insured, you cannot remove the Select checkmark.

To remove the checkmark go to the Transaction Premiums / Billing sections, open the Split Premium links and remove the premium/non-premium, and/or delete the sub-customer from the Commercial Supplemental Namesgrid. The sub-customer is automatically de-selected from the Get Sub-customerdata entry form.

Customer

The firm or last name entered in customer information.

DBA

The Doing Business As name entered in customer information.

Address

The address entered in customer information.

Active

A check indicates that the sub-customer is active on this policy.

Add as Additional Named Insured

A check indicates that the sub-customer is also listed in the Commercial Supplemental Names grid on the policy.

The first time this box is checked and you click OK on the data entry form, the checked names are added to the Commercial Supplemental Names grid on the policy.

Once the names have been added to Commercial Supplemental Names section grid, you cannot uncheck any of the check boxes. You can delete the sub-customer directly from the Commercial Supplemental Names grid if they no longer are active on the policy.
