Customize User Center

AMS360 provides a feature where you can customize the look of and information appearing on the User Center for your agency. This area includes adding a logo, favorite links, messages, and specifying whether a web page or calendar appears on the User Center.

You must have proper authorization to access Customize User Center.

From any center or form that has a Toolbox menu, click Toolbox > System Administration > Customize User Center.

Agency Logo

The recommended maximum logo size is 240px X 160px.

Field

Logo

Check this box if you want to select a logo to appear on the User Center for all users.

Description

If you selected the Logo option, from the Description list, choose the logo that you want to appear on the User Center.

Logo Setup

If the logo file you want does not appear in the Description list, click Logo Setup to add it.

Calendar or Web URL

Select one of the following options:

Personal Outlook Calendar/Inbox/Scheduler

Choose this option if you use Microsoft Outlook© software.

Selecting this option allows the individual logged-in user to see their Calendar, Inbox, Contacts, and Tasks on the User Center.

If you have Outlook displayed on the User Center and the Task and New links do not display, take the following action:

  1. Open Customize User Center from the Toolbox > System Administrator menu.

  2. Under Calendar or Web URL, choose Web URL and enter www.vertafore.com. Save and close the data entry form.

  3. Re-open the Customize User Center data entry form and choose Personal Outlook/Calendar/Inbox/Scheduler. Save and close the form. The new fields display on the User Center.

Web URL

Choose this option and then specify the Web Address in the field provided. Enter the full web address including the http or https that appears before the URL once the web page has loaded.

"Site may contain non-secured pages" appears if you enter a non-http site.

Agency Information

Select any of the following options that you want:

Select if you want the agency name, from Agency Setup, to appear on the User Center.

If you choose this option, you can also select 10, 12, or 14 pt for the font size to use in displaying the agency name.

Address

Select the appropriate checkboxes for the information from Agency Setup to appear on the User Center.

Business Phone

Business Fax

24 Hour Phone

Email Address

Message Board

Select this option if you want the Message Board to appear on the User Center for all users that log into AMS360. Click Message Editor to add, edit, or delete messages.

Favorite Links

Select this option if you want the Favorite Links section to appear on the User Center for all users that log into AMS 360. Click Link Editor to add, edit, and delete links.

Preview

Click to see how your selections affect the User Center. Because changes occur immediately when you click Save or Save & Close, this link allows you to preview the look of the User Center before the changes are applied for all users.
