Auto Accidents/Violations Tab

Use this feature to record any accidents and/or violations the client has. If there are no violations, then access the Driver Underwriting tab to continue the quote process.

Field Entry
Violation Date

Enter the date of the traffic violation.

OR

Click the icon to select the date of the violation.
Conviction Date

Enter the date when the client was convicted of the violation.

OR

Click the icon to select the conviction date.
Vehicle Code

Enter the violation code.

OR

  1. Click the Select by Vehicle Code button.
  2. Select the appropriate description of the violation.
  3. Click OK. The violation code appears in the Vehicle Code column and the description of the violation appears in the Description column.

OR

  1. Click the Select By Category button.
  2. Select the category.
  3. Click the appropriate violation. The description of the violation appears in the Description column. A violation code may or may not appear next to the description.
# Column This column is used when there is more than one violation on the same date. Click here for further explanation.
Red X Column
  1. Highlight the violation you want to delete.
  2. Click the icon.

A pop-up window appears asking you to verify that you want to delete the selected violation.

  1. Click Yes.

This completes the Accidents/Violation tab. Continue to the Auto Driver Underwriting tab.
