Request Status

The current disposition in the system of a request record is referred to as its "status." As reflected in the table below, a request may have one of six different statuses, each requiring a different level of user attention.

Do not confuse "Status" with "Milestone." Status refers to the current disposition of a request record itself, whereas milestone refers to the current stage in a request's workflow process.

In the Filter Options panel of the Workspace page, you can search or filter for requests by their current status.

PROC

The On Hold status is available through Vertafore configuration only. If your company's instance of Producer Express includes this configuration (holdForEventFunction), then you may see a status of On Hold for a request that is waiting for a response to an appointment request, a response to a background investigation request, an automated data reconciliation, a dependent request to reach a specific status or milestone, and/or a parent request to reach a specific status.
