The Policies view uses side view panes to display policy information. The following view panes are available in the Policies view.

Policies
(left pane)

Displays a list of policies and transactions with a link to open the policy. .

Summary
(right pane)

Displays either policy summary. activities, Claims, Documents, Notes, Suspense, or WorkSmart documents (if you use WorkSmart) for the policy selected in the Policies view pane. Use the Summary view pane to quickly review policy information and provide better and faster customer service.

You can change the category of the summary to be displayed by selecting one of the following options from the Show list:

  • Policy Summary (default): Shows the high-level summary information of the policy highlighted in the Policies view pane as well as Customer Contacts. To edit or see complete policy information, click the Policy # link shown in this summary view. The Policy form appears. You can also directly access the policy's lines of business from the Lines of Business links provided at the bottom of this summary view (if you have appropriate security rights).
  • Activities, Claims, Documents, Notes, and Suspense: Four unique categories of information are available. The items are associated with the selected policy and show the same information as the view for Activity, Claims, Documents, Notes, and Suspense.
 

If you use WorkSmart, the documents appearing in the summary are WorkSmart documents. If you have a combination of WorkSmart and non-WorkSmart documents, only the WorkSmart documents appear.

Use the expand/collapse button to expand the policies list (left pane) to its full view or collapse it to the split view. You can also resize the panes that are displayed side-by-side by dragging the pane divider between the panes.

Open the policy or submission information directly from the Policy # link, or expand a policy in the list and select the Tran Eff Date link.

By default, views and lists are limited to 100 items per page. In some Views you can choose to see more items, do any of the following, if available:

    • Use the arrows at the bottom of the page to view additional pages.*

    • Set the Max # of Records Returned field to a value greater than 100 in View Options.*

    • Use View Options to filter the results of your search.
