Queue License Applications by State

Use the Queue License Applications by State page to set up "subscriber review" of license applications submitted by outside agents. This workflow configuration helps staff organize and distribute license application work queues and also works with Message Center to alert staff of state actions and responses on pending license applications.

To use the Queue License Applications by State service, click the Administration link. The Administration page will open. Then, in the License Application Management group, click the License Application Queing link.

The Queue License Applications by State page offers the following services:

You can set up AgencyEDGE to route to a specific staff member in your agency or department all license applications submitted to a specific state by any outside agent. The staff member then can review a routed license application and either reject it or release it for state processing.

The Queue License Applications by State page shows dropdown menus associated with every licensing state and territory. The dropdown menus contain the names of every user with an active account in AgencyEDGE.

  1. To set up AgencyEDGE to route to a particular staff member all license applications to a specific state that have been submitted by any outside agent, select the staff member's name from a selected state dropdown menu.
  2. To set up workflow configurations for license applications submitted to other states, repeat step 1, as desired.
  3. When you are finished, click the Submit button. The Queue License Applications by State page will update to confirm current configuration settings for the license application workflow. All license applications submitted by outside agents to the states displaying on the confirmation page will be routed to the staff member(s) associated with the selected states.

To exit the Queue License Applications by State page, click the Administration link in the navigation bar or the breadcrumbs.

In AgencyEDGE, the Queue License Applications by State page is available only through Vertafore configuration. Please contact your Vertafore representative at 1-877-876-4430.

When using the License Application Queing service, if a state dropdown menu is set to null (no name displaying), license applications to that state are placed in an "unassigned" queue. Any existing license applications pending review that are in the "unassigned" queue will be assigned to the selected staff member upon the successful completion of this process.

Subscriber review configuration using the License Application Queing service is available only for license applications for which your company is responsible for all fees (i.e, state, Sircon, and other related fees).
