The system automatically maintains a User Administration Log, which tracks the identity of any user who performs a user administration activity in the system, as well as the date and time of the activity. Logged activities include the following:

  • Adding a user account
  • Updating user account iinformation
  • Enabling/disabling a user account
  • Changing a user security role
  • Resetting a user’s password

To request a User Administration Log, contact your Vertafore representative.

Personally Identifiable Information (or “PII”) often is required in a state transaction request. However, this sensitive information also may pose a security risk. AgencyEDGE generates an audit log for each subscriber that tracks when a user views or modifies PII as part of a state transaction. A Data Access Log records user access to the following data:

  • Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Bank Account and/or Routing #
  • Birth Date
  • Fingerprint ID
  • Driver’s License #
  • License Number (when the license state uses SSN)

Data Access Logs are retained for a minimum of 90 days. Your agency may request to review a Data Access Log at any time. Please contact your Vertafore representative.
