Copy Other Interests

This feature, or some fields and options described, might not be available depending on your settings, security rights, or platform package.

Use Copy Other Interests to copy additional interests to a Commercial Property, or Business Auto policy.

Accessing Copy Other Interest

You can access Copy Other Interest from either of the following Lines of Business:

Business Auto > Additional Interest

or
Commercial Property > Additional Interest

Field

What is this?

Customer Certificate Holder

Selected by default. Pre-fills the grid below with names from the Customer Certificate Holder.

Other Interests

Select to enable the Interest Type field and All checkbox.

Interest Type

Select from the list to fill the grid with information from Additional Interest Setup (excluding All and Customer Certificate Holders).

All

Check to fill the grid with names from Additional Interest Setup.

Grid fills in alpha ascending order.

Select All

Use to select or unselect all rows from the grid.

You can also right-click on a row to Add to List, or Export to Excel. Drag-and-drop functionality is available from the top grid down to the list.

Add selections from grid to the Interests to Copy grid below.

Assign to Loc#

Bldg#

Either set of fields appear depending on the line of business concerned.

Choose from list to assign interest to an existing location, building or vehicle.

Clear List

Use to clear selections from the Interests to Copy grid.

Interests to Copy

The grid shows which Additional Interests are to be copied to the policy.

Information	What is this?
# of Interests selected to copy	Displays the actual number of rows included in the list box to be copied.
Line of Business currently has	Displays the actual number of rows already existing for the specific Line of Business.
Maximum allowed is 2500. Please decrease the number selected to copy.	This information is hidden until the # of rows selected to copy added with the # of pre-existing rows exceeds 2500 (>2500). OK is disabled until you decrease the number selected to copy.

Closes window and adds Additional Interests to the Type-In grid on the policy.

Cancel

Closes window without making any changes.
