Administer Producer Business Rules

If you have system administrator permissions, use the Administer Producer Business Rules page to globally apply or suspend pre-defined business rules across your company's deployment of PLM Producer Manager and Producer Express. With a business rule globally applied, an end user then can customize the rule on a per-producer basis.

You can view a list of producers with customized variances to a global business rule. Also, you can change the global value of a business rule or set an active business rule to inactive, thereby disabling it.

Notes

Note: The specific producer business rules available in your company's instance of PLM are set by Vertafore as a custom configuration option. For detailed descriptions of producer business rules, see Configuration Options. If you do not see a producer business rule that you believe should be included in your company's instance of PLM, contact your Vertafore support representative.

Tips

You can globally apply or suspend a business rule allowing individual or firm producer records to be subjected to Scheduled Syncs. With the Allow Scheduled Syncs to Run For This Producer producer business rule globally applied, an end user then can "customize" the rule on a per-producer basis. For more information, see Producer Business Rules.
