Producer Manager Home Screen

The Home page (sometimes referred to as the "main page" or "workspace") is the first page you see after you log into Producer Manager. It offers shortcuts to performing many of the most common tasks in Producer Manager. It is also a launching point for anywhere else you want to go within the system.

In addition, the Menu Bar offers the following features:

  • TheRecently Viewed Producers dropdown menu provides a navigable list of your 10 most recently viewed producer records. To open the Recently Viewed Producers dropdown menu, click the clock-face button () to the left of the Producer Quick Search field below the Menu Bar. The dropdown list displays the same summary information about each record as the Producer Quick Search results, including when the record was last opened. Click a name in the list to open the corresponding producer's record in the Review/Update Producer page.

  • The Producer Quick Search field allows you to search for a producer record from any page. Enter criteria to search for a producer record by producer name, alias, EIN, full or partial SSN, NPN, state license number, or External System ID. The 10 best matches will be displayed in a selectable list. Click a producer's name in the list to open the producer's record in the Review/Update Producer page.

ClosedTask Links

On the left side of the Home page is the Task Links section, offering hyperlinks to pages where you can perform many of the most common functions in Producer Manager. Click one of the Task Links to navigate to the desired page.

ClosedRecently Viewed Producers

The Recently Viewed Producers section on the right side of the Home page displays a list of the five firm or individual producer records that you most recently opened and a date- and timestamp of when it occurred. Click the blue name link of a producer to open the producer's record in the Review/Update Producer page.

ClosedRecent Subscriber Notices

The Recent Subscriber Notices panel on the right side of the Home page displays information about state regulatory changes and renewal periods, scheduled Producer Manager service maintenance, or other notices. Click the Show All/Hide All link at the top right of the page to toggle display of subscriber messages from Vertafore on or off.

Note: If a new invoice is available for your review, an alert message box will appear after you log in and before you see the Producer Manager Home page. Click the OK button to proceed to the Home page.

Note: The appearance and behavior of the Home page, especially the Task Links section, largely are configurable per customer. If you do not see or cannot access a field or control documented in this help topic, it may not be configured to be enabled, either in your company's deployment of Producer Manager or for your security role in the system. For more information, see Maintain Security Role or contact your system administrator or your Vertafore representative.

Tips

You can return to the Home page from any other page by clicking the Producer Manager name banner () at the top of the page or the Home link in the page footer.
