Maintain Staff Member Business Unit
In Producer Manager, a business unit is a logical or physical segmentation or division of your company's business or organization. You can group producers into a business unit, and you can configure the same business unit in the user accounts of one or multiple staff members, allowing them to maintain the records and manage the compliance of the producers in the business unit.
If you have system administrator permissions, use the Maintain Staff Member Business Unit page to configure a user's association with a business unit.

Notes
Note: The system does not prevent a user associated with one business unit from reviewing the record or performing maintenance activities on behalf of a producer associated with a different business unit.
Note: A user (staff member) must be associated with an identical business unit as a producer for whom the user is submitting an appointment or termination request.
Note: Only one business unit may be configured as a user's default business unit.
Note: You can assign a user only to a business unit that first has been configured in the system. For information about setting up business units, see Maintain Business Unit.
