Administration Center - Utilities
The following commands are available on the Administration Center - Utilities menu. You must have appropriate security permissions to access Owner.
| Application Locks | AMS360 creates application locks on policies or processes to prevent multiple persons from editing the same data entry form a the same time. Normally the lock is cleared once the form is saved or closed. If an event such as a power outage prevented a lock from being removed normally, you can clear the lock using Application Locks. Application Locks should be used with care as clearing a lock may produce unexpected results. More... | ||
| AMS360 Downloads | Opens the AMS360Help Center Download page where you can download a variety of tools. Vertafore Customer Support and/or Professional Services will advise you on how to download and use these tools when necessary. | ||
| Audit Trail | Use this option to see who has accessed a customer's information, policy, claim, or all of the options for a specific date range. To save the information click Export All to create an Excel spreadsheet with the information. This utility provides information required by privacy laws. | ||
| Billing Options | The Default Company Settings section of the Agency Setup form and the Billing Options section of the Company Setup form contain important information critical to successful billing in AMS360. The Billing Options Utility allows you to set these options on existing unposted policy transactions based on the setups. This feature provides global changes for groups of policies vs. manually changing individual policy transactions. More... | ||
| Insurlink Management | Insurlink Management appears if your agency has purchased and is provisioned for Insurlink. Insurlink enables you to give access to your insureds to see their policy information, upload documents, request policy changes, or enter claims information from your agency website. Use Insurlink Management to design the Portal for your website. After you've set up your Insurlink web page, you can choose which of your clients can access the site. More... | ||
| Code Maintenance | The Code Maintenance Utility enables you to choose when to resolve conflicts resulting from new permanent codes added during an AMS360 upgrade. More... | ||
| Company Code Import | Use the Company Code Import Utility to copy all non-duplicate codes into your database. This utility is primarily used when you begin downloading with a new company. More... | ||
| Convert to Benefits by Line of Business | Use this feature to convert, by Line of Business (LOB), existing non-Benefits policies to policies that can be used inside the optional Benefits product. More... | ||
| Convert to Benefits Individually | Use this feature to convert non-Benefit Lines of Business (LOB) to Benefit Lines of Business on existing policies. More... | ||
| Create BenefitPoint Files | Use the Create BenefitPoint Files feature to export customer and policy data out of AMS360 and import it into BenefitPoint. More... | ||
| Daily Process | Use Daily Process to execute one or more date-driven accounting, customer/policy, or sales tasks. More... | ||
| Download Statement Utility | Opens the Download Statement Utility form where you can convert a previously downloaded direct bill statement to Direct Bill Entry. This feature is typically used for Direct Bill Statements exported from BenefitPoint. More... | ||
| File Delete | When you delete a document in AMS360, you remove it from system access. However, for Doc360 documents that are stored in a shared folder, you must purge the documents using the File Delete Utility to remove them from your system.More... | ||
| Global Change for Personnel | The Global Change for Personnel form provides the ability to change agency personnel associated with customers, policies, suspense, personal notes and alerts throughout the system at one time. More... | ||
| Leadlist Administration / Customer Import | Use Leadlist Administration/Customer Import to define the data elements that you want to use when importing a lead list into AMS360; import members of a lead list into AMS360 as suspects, prospects, or customers; and delete suspects. | Login Monitor | The Login Monitor is only available for In-house agencies. Use Login Monitor to track the number of concurrent users logged into AMS360 at any given time. More... | ||
| Mandatory Field Setup | Use Mandatory Field Setup to require the Customer NAIC numbers when Business with Agency is marked Commercial and a Policy Line of Business in the Policy data entry form. | ||
| Single Sign-On | Use the Single Sign-On form to register users to use an email and password to log on to multiple Vertafore applications at once. | ||
| Text Messenger Setup | Use to turn On/Off Vertafore Messenger. This add-on feature provides texting with your clients. This feature carries a set up charge and a monthly subscription. For more information contact your Vertafore Account Manager.

| Undelivered Notification Messages | Use Undelivered Notification Messages to research the reason the message cannot be delivered and re-send it. You can also delete messages from this form. More... | ||
| Updated Agency License | The Update Agency License feature is useful for AMS360 Online (Hosted) agencies that want to manage the availability of their user licenses. The form allows you to easily change the maximum number of licensed users in your agency. When you save your changes to the system, notification is sent to the Vertafore Data Center so that your contract terms are updated accordingly. More... |
