Working with Suspense

Suspenses, are an entry in your application, which provides a reminder to take action in the future, or a future-dated activity. Suspenses do not have to be related to a customer task. SalesTrack auto creates a suspense when an Opportunity status changes to won or lost.

Access Suspense

You can access Suspenses from three levels:

  • On the top navigation bar click Sales and select the Suspense tile. A list of all Suspense appears.
  • Access Suspenses from a particular Account - Open an Account and click AMS360 Details - click to expand/collapse. A list of all suspenses related to the account appears.
  • Access Suspenses from an Opportunity - Open an Opportunity and click AMS360 Details - click to expand/collapse. A list of all suspenses related to the opportunity appears.

Suspense Filters

  • Use the Suspense filters to narrow the listing. You can filter suspenses by Action, Priority, Due Date from and Due Date to.
  • Select your filters and click Apply.

Create a Suspense at the Account level

  1. On the top navigation bar, click on the Vertafore logo and click on the Sales tile. The Sales work area appears on the navigation bar and the sales dashboard appears.
  2. On the top navigation bar click on Sales and then select Accounts. A list of all your active accounts appears.
  3. Click to open the Account you want to create a Suspense. The Account Summary page appears.
  4. Scroll down and click AMS360 Details - click to expand/collapse. This section expands.
  5. On the right click +. The new suspense form appears.
  6. Using the To drop-down list select the CSR to whom you want this Suspense to appear. The suspense is assigned to the selected user.
  7. Using the Action drop-down list select the type of action for this suspense.
  8. Enter the Due Date and select the Priority.
  9. Enter the required Description and click Save.
  10. The following message appears: Suspense Created Successfully. Click OK.

Create a Suspense at the Opportunity level

  1. On the top navigation bar, click on the Vertafore logo and click on the Sales tile. The Sales work area appears on the navigation bar and the sales dashboard appears.
  2. On the top navigation bar click on Sales and then select Opportunities. A list of all your active opportunities appears.
  3. Click to open the Opportunity you want to create a Suspense. The opportunity page appears.
  4. Scroll down and click AMS360 Details - click to expand/collapse. This section expands.
  5. On the right click +. The new suspense form appears.
  6. Using the To drop-down list select the CSR to whom you want this Suspense to appear. The suspense is assigned to the selected user.
  7. Using the Action drop-down list select the type of action for this suspense.
  8. Enter the Due Date and select the Priority.
  9. Enter the required Description and click Save.
  10. The following message appears: Suspense Created Successfully. Click OK.
