Working with Quick Campaigns

Send an e-mail blast to customers who fit a specific demographic, a mail campaign to clients in a specific region, or perhaps a phone call campaign to previous buyers of a particular product by using a quick campaign in Vertafore Agency SalesTrack. A quick campaign is a single campaign activity geared toward a targeted audience. Track the success of your quick campaign through campaign responses, and convert the positive responses into new leads, quotes, orders, or opportunities.

Only a Sales Manager can create and send Quick Campaigns.

 

Before you create a quick campaign you must have the required marketing list compiled. For more information on creating a marketing list click here.

 

Create a Quick Campaign

  1. On the top navigation bar click the Vertafore logo and then select the Marketing tile.
  2. On the top navigation bar click on Marketing and then select the Marketing Lists tile. A page with all marketing lists appears.
  3. To create a quick campaign:
    1. Select the marketing list you want to use for the quick campaign. On the command bar choose Create Quick Campaign. The quick campaign wizard appears, read the instructions on the Welcome page, and click Next. Or,



    2. Open the marketing list you want to use. On the command bar click ... More Commands and then select Create Quick Campaign. . The quick campaign wizard appears, read the instructions on the Welcome page, and click Next.


  4. Specify a Name for the quick campaign and click Next. A list of activity type appears.



  5. Select the Activity Type you want to create.
  6. The user creating this campaign will default as the Owner of the activity. You can change the who will own these activities if required.
  7. You can also select who you want to assign the activity to and whether SalesTrack should perform the activity automatically for appropriate activities, such as sending email messages. For example, if you are creating a phone call activity for all the sales representatives, you can select the phone call activity, and then select The owners of the records that are included in the quick campaign. Each sales representative can then see the activity and take action on it. However, if you are creating a large number of email activities that SalesTrack will perform automatically, you can assign the email activity to yourself instead of the record owners.
  8. Click Next. The content of the activity page appears.
    1. If your agency has a ready to use template, check mark Use Template and click the Select Template button.

    2. If you do not have a ready to use template, enter the From, Subject and the body of the email.

  9. Click Next. The wizard completion page appears.
  10. Click Create.

View the Status of Quick Campaign

On the top navigation bar click Marketing and then select Quick Campaign. A list of quick campaigns appears.
