XPS message
Microsoft has changed the way they are giving customers the XPS viewer, which is used for some functionality in eForms manager.
Depending on the build number of the OS you have, you may need to install the new viewer. Click here for further details.

A bank account now has the option of requiring Check Approval as a two-step process, where one user creates a check and a second user approves and posts the check. We have added three new check types: ACH, Wire, and Outsourced check types. |

Users can change the business unit on selected customers or policies within the AMS360 Administration Center. It is now possible to perform division changes on selected customers and policies within the application, thereby offering a faster turnaround. NOTE: If you have an integration with either WorkSmart / ImageRight or BenefitPoint, you should contact your Vertafore Account Manager as to how these moves might affect those integrated products. If changes are needed in these integrated products, it may result in a professional services engagement. |

Global Change Division Consolidation |
Users may now consolidate a division into another division within the AMS360 Administration Center. Previously, consolidating divisions was a custom job performed by Professional Services. NOTE: If you have an integration with either WorkSmart / ImageRight or BenefitPoint, you should contact your Vertafore Account Manager as to how these moves might affect those integrated products. If changes are needed in these integrated products, it may result in a professional services engagement. |
Global Change for Personnel Import | A .csv file can now be imported with a list of selected personnel that need to be changed. Whereas before it was only possible to change one person at a time via Global Change Personnel, bulk changes may now be performed. |
Global Change Personnel | In earlier versions of AMS360, all users had to be out of the system before the Global Change of Personnel process was able to run. It is now possible to run the process while users are in the system. Any customer or policy with an application lock will be skipped during the process and must instead be changed manually. |
Customer Search: Enhance Phone # Search to Include Contacts and Dependents | Searching by contact or dependent phone number brings the customer up as a match. This applies to all areas where the customer search function is available. |
ACORD Form Additions and Updates | Multiple ACORD forms have been updated with more recent forms. |
Purge Policy | Users are able to purge policies from the database that are no longer active, if they fall within a selected time frame within a closed fiscal year. |
Purge Employee | Employees who are no longer attached to data (such as policies that have been purged) are now able to be removed. |
Spell Check | With this release, Spell Check is now available throughout AMS360. |
My Agency Report (MAR): Book of Business Report Enhancements | We have added additional information to pull into the "Book of Business Report." This includes new view options grouping, adding policy numbers to groupings, and changing the wording for Customer to that of Customer Number, to be more accurate. A number of columns have also been added to the report. |

Update AMS360 Multi-factor Authentication to 12-Hour Standard |
As previously designed, multi-factor re-authentication occurred in AMS360 every 30 days. With this release, for improved security, users will be prompted to re-authenticate after 12 hours. There is no workflow change for Multi-Factor Authentication*. Please view the Multi-Factor Authentication help article for assistance with setup. * Reauthentication will now appear in an additional browser page instead of in a pop-up window. |
Mapped ACORD Documents | Information has been added to the Work with eForms Help page, listing three new form field maps: Dwelling Fire; Mobile Home; Personal Umbrella. |
Enhanced Outlook Add-in to Support Federated Customers | Federated (SSO) users will now be able to sign into the Outlook add-in with their credentials. VSSO users will also be able to sign in with their credentials using the same workflow as AMS360. |
Worksmart Document View | The WorkSmart imbedded viewer is no longer supported. Users will no longer see the WorkSmart Documents option in the Policy Side View drop-down menu. |
Application Catalog: Security Group Assignment for Service Employees | Admin users will now be able to designate specific Security Group access for API users. |
Application Catalog: API User Access to Secured Customers |
Admin users may now grant permission for API users to access customers marked as “Secured” within the AMS360 database. |
Employee WinForms: Redesign Default Business Unit Assignment | With this release, the Default Business Unit assigned to an employee will default to a customer, a policy, or both when an employee is creating a new customer or policy. |
Transaction Type Displayed as NSA when Service Agreement Activity Created | In the Activity grid, the transaction type of NSA will now display in the Trans. column if it is the Tran in the view activity popup (WinForm). First, create an activity with the transaction type of NSA. After it is saved and closed, go to the activity view and the type of NSA will be shown. |
Updated Truckers Vehicle / Drivers Grid | Users will now be able to type within the Truckers Vehicle and Driver grids, thereby mirroring what users can currently do within the business auto grid. |
Update CSS in AMS360 to Match New Alloy Look | The overall look of AMS360 has been modernized to improive the user experience, matching its design with other Vertafore products. |
My Agency Report (MAR): Policy Locations Report | User are now able to pull a report that displays policies within specific zip codes. |
MAR: Unbilled Policy Report — Not Billable | Users may now run a report with the selection of "Not Billable Only" to see policies that have not registered as billable under the "How Billed" category. |
MAR: Transaction Report Enhancements | Two new columns have been added to this report: "Estimated Revenue" and "Estimated Revenue Percent." |
Ivans
POST /ivans/edocs/activity
Creates an activity for eDocs files that originate from IVANS sent from external products, such as from TransActNow.
Agency
POST /agency/profile-question
Adds a new agency profile question.
GET /agency/profile-questions
Get the list of agency profile questions.
Authentication
POST /auth/ivans/login
An endpoint that takes IVANS login credentials for validation. Once these credentials are accepted, it responds with a model that contains tokens for the temporary use of EMS.
Customers
PUT /customer/profile-answer
Adds or updates a customer's answer to an agency profile question. If an answer record already exists for the customer, the existing record is updated; otherwise, a new answer is recorded.
GET /customer/profile-answers
Gets a list of profiles answers for a given customer.
POST /customers/contacts/search
Gets customer contacts, which can be based on Customer ID, or Customer Number, or contacts updated since a given changed date.
POST /customers/dependents/search
Gets customer dependents, which can be based on Customer ID, or Customer Number, or dependents updated since a given changed date.
Employees
GET /employee/image
Get employee's photo image, given either an employee code or an employee ID. If a look-up by employee code does not return anything, the employee look-up is performed by employee ID, if present.
Business Unit (Global Change)
PUT /global-change/business-unit/consolidate
Consolidates a division with another division and combines all aspects of the division, including accounting. This will run whether the business unit component is active or inactive. The user must have access to the source division. However, the user may not have access to the target division, which means that, once the consolidation is successfully completed , the user may no longer have access to entities that were previously accessible.
PUT /global-change/business-unit/import
Attempts to import the contents of a .csv file for the Global Change Business Unit process.
GET /global-change/business-unit/result-detail
Gets the detail information for a Global Change Business Unit process.
POST /global-change/business-unit/result-details/search
Gets a paginated list of Global Change Business Unit detail records for a given header.
PUT /global-change/business-unit/retry
Given a Global Change Business Unit Header ID, retries any of the Global Change Business Unit Detail records that have been completed with errors.
POST /global-change/business-unit/summaries/search
Gets a list of batch result summaries for the Global Change Business Unit.
GET /global-change/business-unit/summary
Gets the summary status of a Global Change Business Unit process.
POST /global-change/business-unit/summary/delete
Deletes a Global Change Business Unit Summary and its detailed records.
Personnel (Global Change)
DELETE /global-change/personnel/collection
Soft-deletes a Global Change for Personnel Collection.
POST /global-change/personnel/collection/import
Given Global Change for Personnel options applied to the entire batch, and a list of personnel change settings, it groups customers and policies by personnel (To and From) and personnel type, and it initiates a Global Change for Personnel processing for each group.
AMS recommends that you process or delete all suspended billings and unposted Direct Bill Statements prior to running the Global Change for Personnel process. Prior to running the Global Change for Personnel process, AMS recommends that a full backup should be completed. This process will make permanent changes to your database.

Searches for the status of a Global Change for Personnel Collection process.
POST /global-change/personnel/collections/search
Searches through all Global Change for Personnel Collection records with the given filters.
Invoices
POST /invoices/search
Searches for invoices with the given optional filters.
Policies
GET /policy/contact
Gets a list of non-deleted entries for a single policy contact by ID, which can be associated to multiple Policies; if an optional Policy ID is provided, it will return the specific entry for the Policy Contact tied to that Policy.
POST /policy/contact
Adds a new Policy Contact, if the provided Policy ID exists and is not deleted.
PUT /policy/contact
Updates an existing non-deleted Policy Contact when the provided PolicyId and PolicyContactId exists.
