Send E-Mail

If you need to share documents, images, or other items in your WorkSmart system with others who do not use WorkSmart, you can send them via e-mail.

You can send multiple documents and pages simultaneously.

  • To select adjacent documents, click the first document icon, hold down Shift, and then click the last item.

  • To select nonadjacent documents, click the first document icon, hold down Ctrl, and then click additional items.

  1. Open the file from which you want to send content and locate the document containing the items that you want to send.
  2. At the bottom of the window, click , and then click Email.
    If you are downloading a document, click Actions, and then click Email.

  1. In Email Set Up, select the appropriate options.
    1. Select the items you would like to include – remove selected pages or documents before sending e-mail.

    2. Name attachment – enter a name for the attachment
    3. With Annotations – select to include annotations to the pages or images
  2. Click Next to continue. Click Cancel if you change your mind.

  1. You may be prompted to open, save, or cancel the e-mail message. Click Open to send the e-mail message using your default e-mail program.
