Lead Workflow by Types of Business
SalesTrack is enabled to work with Commercial, Personal Lines, Benefits, Health, Financial Services, Life and Non P&C. For each type of business, SalesTrack will synchronize with the lines of business you set up in AMS360.
When you enter a new lead, the data entry fields depends on the type of business selected.
- In the Account section, enter the Account Name, Phone, Email, Website and Address.
- In the Primary Account Contact section, enter the Job Title, Name, Business Phone, Mobile Phone, Fax and Email.
- In the Details section, enter a brief Description about the business and lead.
- Enter the Account X-Date.
- Enter Estimated Account Premium.
- Choose whether SIC or NAICS.
- Using the NAICS Code Lookup tool select the appropriate code. Alternatively, you could also enter the code directly if the code is known.
- Enter the No. of Employees.
- Select the Lead Source - Agency Website, Marketing Campaign, Purchased Lead List, Cold Call, Radio, TV, Referral, Seminar, Trade Show, Web Search and Other.
- Enter the Lead Sub Source.
- In the Account information section, enter the First Name, Middle Name and Last Name. This name will auto-populate as the Primary Account Contact.
- Enter the Phone, Email, Website and Address.
- In the Primary Account Contact section, enter the Name. SalesTrack auto-populates here. Click on the name to change primary account contact, if required.
- Enter the Business Phone, Mobile Phone, Fax, Email, Suffix, Nick Name and Prior Name.
- Select the Gender, Birthday and Marital Status.
- Select the Relationship to Account - Self, Child, Parent, Spouse, Sibling, Domestic Partner, Relative, Other Non-relative, Employee and Significant Other.
The Primary Contact is added to the Contacts section in AMS360. Dependents, if any, will appear in the Dependent section in AMS360. |
- In the Details section, enter a the Description of the account, the Account X-Date, the Estimated Account Premium, Lead Source and Lead Sub Source.
- In the Contact Method section, select the preferred method of contact for the lead.
- For Preferred select Any, Email, Phone, Fax or Mail.
- For Email, Bulk Email, Phone and Mail choose between Allow or Do not Allow.
Your selection in Step 8 will mark those corresponding fields in the Primary Account Contact section as required. For example if the preferred method of contact is Email, the corresponding field in the Primary Account Contact Section cannot be empty. |
Once you select the Type of Business, corresponding entry fields appears below.
- In the Account section, enter the Account Name, Phone, Email, Website and Address.

- Enter the Account X-Date. Information entered in this field will auto-update to the Current Policy Information section.
