Add Firm
Use the Add Firm page to manually add a new individual licensee record.
To open the Add Firm page, choose one of the following methods:

From the Licensing menu select Producer, and then select Add Firm

In the Task Links section of the Producer Manager Home page, click the Add a new Firm link

Click the create this firm manually link on the Quick Add Producer page
The Add Firm page contains the following sections:

Note: Depending on your company's specific configuration of Producer Manager, sections of the Add Firm page may display as separate pages, requiring that you navigate from page to page to enter the data. Use the Next and Previous buttons to navigate.
Note: Based on your company's business rules, the Business Unit dropdown menu in the External System Identifier and Business Unit sections may be Vertafore-configured to display the business unit set as the default in your user account. For more information, see Configuration Options and Maintain Staff Member Business Unit.
Note: If you have arrived at the Add Firm page from the Quick Add Producer page, click the Save button to create an incomplete or "shell" producer record based on PDB data.
Note: The External System ID and Business Unit sections display only if required in your company's specific deployment of Producer Manager.
Tips
Instead of manually adding a new producer record to the system, you can automatically add a single, new producer record and populate it with current license, license line, company appointment, address, and name alias information, obtained from state insurance departments by way of the national Producer Database (PDB).
