Warnings

Deleting licensing data from a producer record does not generate a request to remove, inactivate, or terminate licensing or appointment data from records in state regulatory databases.

Notes

Note: After you click the Delete button, the system will not issue a confirmation message before deleting the licensing data. However, you may perform a Quick Sync Producer automated data reconciliation operation to restore deleted license, qualification, or appointment data to the producer record from the national Producer Database (PDB).

Note: The system prevents you from deleting a license, qualification, or appointment with a status of Active. If you cannot delete a record, check to make sure all of the producer's licenses, qualifications, appointments, and firm associations are terminated or inactivated. (For more information about producer record status, see Details.)

Note: If a producer record contains both active and inactive license or qualification data in a selected state, the system will prevent you from deleting the information from the record until all licenses and qualifications in the state are inactivated. (For more information, see Inactivate License and Inactivate Qualification.)

Note: If your company is using the Outbound Data Feed, when you delete a producer's licenses, qualifications, and appointments, the License, Qualification, and Appointment data sections of the deleted producer's record will include an Action of Delete. For more information, see the Outbound Data Feed User Guide.
