Set Task Attributes

Your organization may use attributes (criteria) that are evaluated in the workflow process. The results of the evaluation may determine the path a task will follow in the workflow. The attributes may be entered manually using the Set Task Attributes action.

Attributes are customizable data fields that are unique to your organization. They are often used to identify or store specific information related to policies, insured parties, etc.

  1. Right-click the task in the Work Queue or click . If the task is already open, click in the task area.

  2. Click Set Attributes.
  3. In Set Task Attributes, enter the attribute value or values as needed.

  4. Click:

    • Cancel if you change your mind.

    • Set & Release to save the attribute value and release the task to the next step in the workflow.

    • Set Attributes to save the attribute value only. The task will not be released to the next step.
