Code Group Reference
The table below lists code groups (also referred to as code domains) that are available for user-configuration on the Maintain Codes page.
A user with administrative permissions may configure an unlimited number of codes in any code group. The Short Descriptions of active codes then are visible and available as user input in related data fields in Producer Manager.
Many code groups include code values that are system-required and cannot be inactivated. Other code groups may contain pre-configured, "suggested" codes that you are free to use or inactivate, as your business requires. An inactivated code is removed as a user-input option. Also, you are free to add your own custom codes to any code group listed on the Maintain Codes page.
Notes
Note: Many codes are critical to the successful movement of data in and out of Producer Manager, such as through the use of Quick Load Producers, the Outbound Data Feed, the Producer Data Web Service, and the Producer Express Bulk Processing Module. Note: Code domains listed with boldface names in the Code Group column in the table below are in active use in Producer Manager or Producer Express, unless otherwise noted. Code domains whose names are not boldface are not in active use in Producer Manager and can be ignored. If you have questions, consult your Vertafore representative.
